India: An Overview

India is a democratic country. The total land area is 3.29 square kilometers. New Delhi is the capital of India. The total population is 1,173,108,018 (July 2010). The climate of India is tropical and most of the parts have temperature 100 – 400 degree centigrade. The time zone of India is GMT+    5 ½ hours. The important airports of this country are New Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Mangalore Bangalore, Chennai and Kolkata.
